"The potential of data is much broader than what people think and graph technology can solve some of the most pressing data issues across industries. There's incredible potential in revealing data insights we haven't considered, and Katana Graph has a leading position in the industry to accomplish this. I'm excited to work with some of the top graph technology experts to elevate the Graph Intelligence Platform for our customers and push the boundaries of graph technology.”

Zane's long career has led to a focused expertise in databases, data warehousing and data analytics. Before SPARQL, Barry held a variety of technical and leadership roles at ParAccel, Inc., Netezza, and Applix. As founder and CTO of ParAccel, Inc., he helped construct the highest performance database system for large scale and complex data analysis, which was implemented as the core of Amazon Web Services' data warehousing technology. Prior to this, as co-founder and the vice president of architecture and technology at Nateeza, he pioneered and led the build of data warehouse systems, which revolutionized the big data industry.

Following Katana Graph’s Series A funding announcement in February 2021, the company continues to show explosive growth. Its dedicated and experienced team is working on innovative use cases with the world's largest companies in life sciences, financial services and security management. Katana Graph recently partnered with Intel to create and launch a high-performance graph analytics Python library for the benefit of data scientists and the growth of the open core community.
